Now, I know what you SFB grognards are thinking (aside from the usual "Orange Warp Grilles?!"): "This isn't a Light Cruiser, its an NCL!"
Traditionally, yes. But, the "New" designations have never sat well with me. Plus, SFB doesn't have the subtlty that my timeline does, what with the introduction of TMP-era ships and what not. Granted, people usually say that 1x ships are those, but it doesn't quite fly with me. Never you mind. Use it for what you will, but the intent is to be a Light Cruiser that came out before the Surya-class Light Cruiser.

Now up for download is the new version of the Klingon Kelicos DNL. I've added the extensions on the neck as well as the extra impulse engines. So, I just had a thought, and since Dynaverse is down, I thought I'd share it on here. I want to ask this: What if Feng Zhu or Doug Chiang had designed the new enterprise. Well, I just started sketching up an idea. Unfortunately rehersal is tonight, so I won't be able to work on it much tonight, but I have off tomorrow. Expect a sketch model :-)EDIT

After an hour or so of modeling, I've come up with this:
Another TOS Romulan for you folks. Atolm had intended this to be a heavy cruiser, but seeing as how there are, now, three romulan heavy cruisers / Birds of Prey in my TOS rom fleet (most/all of them are WZs works), I felt that we needed at least one heavier TOS Rom bird.I wanted to keep the old SFB style of things, partly. The Early Rom birds where all saucer-and-nacelle designs, then they got the klingon birds, then their own body-and-boom designs (like the firehawk). Again, I wanted to keep that going, and then go into the body-and-boom design a purely TMP aesthetic. Naturally the Vulture came to mind. This is my own take on the idea.

The Romulans finally have a new toy: The Gladius-class frigate. I used Tus and Atolm's gladius and added the nacelle from WZ's Sparrowhawk to bring it into the same style.Here's an image:
